One high school in the Central Bucks School District made Philly Mag's list of the "40 Best" in the region.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A new ranking from Philadelphia Magazine analyzes the best high schools in and around Philadelphia. One in the Central Bucks School District made the list.

Central Bucks East made the magazine's "40 Best Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Suburbs" list. The school, located in Buckingham Township, is one of just three in Bucks County to make the list. Other Bucks County schools that made the cut include Council Rock North and New Hope-Solebury.

The ranking was created after analysis of public data from Pennsylvania and New Jersey departments of education, and the National Center for Education Statistics, according to the magazine. Factors taken into account when preparing the list include graduation rates, student to teacher ratio, and SAT scores.
