3 Charged With Retail Theft In Warrington Township
Police investigate incidents at the Wegmans store and at Target.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warrington Township Police Department arrested three people on Dec. 10 and 30 on retail theft charges
December 10
- Police responded to Wegmans for the report of a retail theft. Upon arrival a loss prevention officer told police that a 21-year-old man from Pine Beach, N.J., and an 18-year-old woman from New Hope stole $35.31 worth of merchandise. Both selected drinks, chips, bakery items and two subs. The two proceeded to the seating section upstairs where they consumed the food. The two then exited the store a short time later without paying. They were placed under arrest and transported to the station where they were processed and released.

- On October 29, police were contacted by Target loss prevention about a theft that occurred on October 23. An investigation revealed that a 26-year-old woman from West Chester under rang $144 worth of merchandise. She was arrested on Dec. 30, processed and released.
