5 Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Bucks County
From a celebration of Polish culture to concerts and fireworks, the long Labor Day weekend is bringing lots of fun to Bucks County.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The long Labor Day weekend is here. And it's promising to be an amazing three days of awesome weather and plenty of fun things to do right here in Bucks County.
The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa will be holding its 59th Annual Polish-American Festival this weekend, bringing with it delicious food and a celebration of Polish pride.
The second Bucks County Renaissance Faire is also this weekend, turning back time on the grounds of the Tileworks in Doylestown.

And if you're looking for a relaxing evening and a chance to kick back before the summer ends, Shady Brook Farm is offering a chance to unwind with wine, music and fireworks.

Pierogies, Polkas, And Polish Pride In Bucks
The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa will host its 59th Annual Polish-American Family Festival and Country Fair for the next two weekends. The celebration of food, entertainment and fun will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Aug. 30, 31 and Sept. 1 (Labor Day Weekend) and Sept. 6 and 7 at 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown 18901. The public is invited to celebrate traditional Polish culture with live entertainment, arts and crafts, re-enactments, ethnic foods, midway rides and more.

Renaissance Faire Doubles In Size And Attractions
The Bucks County Renaissance Faire returns for its second season this Labor Day Weekend — Saturday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 1, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily — promising more magic, more mayhem, and twice the village to explore. Held on the historic grounds of the TileWorks of Bucks County, 130 E. Swamp Road in Doylestown, this year’s expanded fairegrounds will feature brand-new attractions and 115 artisan craft and food vendors — amounting to nearly double last year’s footprint, said organizers.

Meander Through A Really Cool Bucks Co. Castle
The public is invited to explore Fonthill Castle's legendary interior during its popular Meander Tours on Saturday and Sunday, August 30 and 31 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The castle's knowledgeable guides will be available along the designated tour route to answer questions and make it a memorable experience for the whole family. Time slots are every 10 minutes and each slot is 45 minutes long. Fonthill Castle is located at 525 East Court Street, Doylestown. Admission is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors, $15 for students, $10 for youth ages 6 to 17, and free for kids ages five and under. There are steep stairs and narrow, uneven passageways on this route. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your start time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.

Unwind With Music, Wine, And Fireworks At The Farm
Shady Brook Farm in Lower Makefield concludes its Summer unWINEd Concert Series with a performance by Epic Soul on Friday, August 29 and fireworks and music by the Rockets on Saturday, August 30. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. (5 p.m. on fireworks nights) with the music starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring your friends, family, and settle in for an evening of great tunes, good vibes, and all your favorite local brews, Rose Bank Winery wines, and spirited drinks from The Silo. The special evenings also include food vendors and plenty of fun for the kids in the playground and other attractions (included with admission). Admission is $12 (online) and $22 (at the gate) on Friday and $20 (online and $30 (at the gate) on Saturday.

Drink In The Bucks County Ale Trail This Weekend
With a new collaboration brew just released, this is the perfect weekend to check out Bucks County's Ale Trail. For the third year, Visit Bucks County has partnered with host, Warwick Farm Brewing, and brewers from across Bucks County to create the 2025 edition of Expedition Bucks County, a county-wide Bucks County Ale Trail collaboration beer. It will be available for a limited time at participating Ale Trail brewers. Click here to learn more about the trail. “For locals, the trail gives them a reason and an incentive to explore more than just their favorite local taprooms and breweries,” said Visit Bucks County's Heather Walter, adding that those who hold the Ale Trail passport can earn prizes for visiting the taprooms and breweries.
