Many book stores around Bucks County and the country are celebrating local bookshops on this day! In Doylestown, activities include a special storytime, handpainting, a scavenger hunt, and visits from local figures including Mayor Noni West. Those who purchase at least $25 worth of books will be entered into a free raffle drawing or receive a secret gift with their order. The Newtown Scavenger Hunt
Time: Saturday at 9 a.m. through Sunday at 3 p.m.

Location: Newtown Library Co, 114 East Centre Ave, Newtown
Promising a "fun-filled weekend" this outdoor hunt will take you on an adventure through the borough to find and photograph items connected to the beauty and history of Newtown. Participants will be emailed their scavenger hunt packet on Saturday at 9 a.m. and bring their completed packet to the library between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Sunday. Prizes will be give for first, second, and third place. Tickets are available at the link.
Drag Brunch at Water's Edge
Time: Saturday, 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Water's Edge Gastropub and Lounge, 1067 Totem Rd, Bensalem
The area's top drag talent will perform over delicious food and drinks — and you can even grab a celebration package for a special event like a birthday or wedding party. Doors open at 11 a.m.
