“Rock This Town Orchestra is much more than a simple tribute act," says the band's website. "The band’s guitar-horns infused music and legendary high-energy show introduces this genre to the
younger generations as well as bringing back precious memories to the more mature audiences while remaining cognizant and respectful of the music’s rich legacy.
“The shows have the entire audience dancing from the very first song with their contagious high energy vibe and their colorful stunning stage props bringing a theatrical visual effect no other acts have these days."
From their humble beginnings rehearsing in Freehold Borough at the chicken coops on Route 33 to the basement of the Cycle Shop on Throckmorton Street, the Sensational Soul Cruisers have come a long way from its “Eddie and the Cruisers” days and are ready to be added to the list of New Jersey’s
great recording acts.
The Soul Cruisers have been under the direction of legendary Jersey Shore sax player Screamin’ Steve Barlotta for over 30 years. He has catapulted this band from the recesses of a dingy basement to over 200 performances a year while capturing the true essence of the Jersey Shore sound and its true R&B roots. While the band travels to and performs in theaters, clubs, public festivals, and private events throughout the country, they will spend a significant amount of time on the East Coast this year.
Complementing the live music will be a variety of food trucks and a weekly beer garden featuring craft brews from Warwick Farm Brewery.
