DOYLESTOWN, PA — Robert T. Repko, a highly respected Bucks County attorney with decades of experience and a lifelong commitment to justice, has announced his candidacy for Judge of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

Repko is running for the county-wide position on a platform of trusted experience, fairness, a deep passion for serving the community, and a commitment to bringing common-sense
justice to the Bucks County Bench.

Repko’s journey to becoming an attorney was shaped by personal hardship and resilience. Growing up in a single-parent household, he witnessed firsthand the shortcomings of the legal system when his family faced relentless challenges during his parents’ contentious divorce.

“Watching the system fail my mother, who was working five part-time jobs to support us, drove me to become a lawyer,” said Repko. “I wanted to ensure no family would experience the same injustice we did.”

Repko further adds, "My life and career have been defined by my commitment to justice, fairness, inclusivity, service and bringing common-sense solutions to problems. As the next judge here in Bucks County, I promise to make sure that everyone, regardless of background, is heard and treated fairly and with dignity.”

Throughout his 27-year legal career, Repko has brought a commitment to service to every aspect of his practice. He began his career as a prosecutor, including here in Bucks County where he worked for the Honorable Alan M. Rubenstein.

After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, he went into private practice where he has focused his career on representing individuals primarily in family law matters such as custody, divorce, support, adoption and domestic violence cases.

In 2011, Repko founded his own law firm, Repko Law, LLC, and has continued to make sure his office remains dedicated to helping people navigate some of the most challenging moments in their lives.

As a trusted and well-respected attorney, he has also been appointed by the court to represent people in guardianship cases, has been appointed by the court to serve as an arbitrator in family law cases, was previously appointed by the court to represent indigent defendants as a conflict attorney with the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office, and has been appointed by the Bucks County Commissioners to serve as the solicitor for the Bucks County Health Department.

Repko’s leadership also extends beyond the courtroom. He has served as a President of the Bucks County Bar Association, where he established the organization’s first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, and spearheaded the association’s involvement in impactful community service initiatives, such as Backpacks for the Homeless, Bucks Knocks Out Hunger and Operation Paperback, where they collected and distributed used books to service men, women, veterans and their children both here and overseas.

He is also the chair of a statewide committee for the Pennsylvania Bar Association, has coached girls softball for the Doylestown Athletic Association, has taught religious classes at his local parish, and has served on the boards of several local non-profits such as the Bucks County Opportunity Council.

"My candidacy for judge embodies my core principles of trusted experience, fairness, and service, and I stand ready to bring my extensive legal expertise and lifelong commitment to common-sense justice to the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas in 2025," said Repko.
