Blasting Operations Scheduled At Warrington Township Quarry
All blasting activities will be monitored and conducted according to all state and federal laws, according to a posted notice.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Eureka Stone Quarry, Inc. will be conducting blasting activities at the Warrington Quarry located on Easton Road in Warrington Township on Thursday, Sept. 18, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to a notice posted on the Warrington Township Facebook page.
As mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, all blasting activities will be monitored and conducted according to all state and federal laws.
Prior to the detonation, depending on proximity to Warrington, the public may hear the following:

- An air horn will sound three bursts, each lasting 5 to 10 seconds, prior to the detonation.
- Following the inspection of the blast area, a single 10 second air horn burst will be sounded.
Adverse weather conditions, equipment breakdowns, personnel illnesses and other unforeseen issues may make it necessary in the interest of safety to conduct unscheduled blasting operations on occasion.
