Police have shared an important update in the string of thefts in which suspects stole jewelry, cash, and more from vacant homes.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Police in Bucks County have obtained security footage of two suspects in a string of residential burglaries in at least five area communities.

Police released photographs of the suspects on Thursday, not long after linking two SUVs to the Halloween weekend home invasions. According to the Warrington Township Police Department, a dark-colored SUV and a white SUV are associated with the crimes, which were reported on Oct. 30 and 31.

Authorities say the suspects broke into unoccupied homes by smashing rear sliding doors and windows. The burglarized homes were ransacked and jewelry, cash, and personal belongings were taken, police said.

Over the course of the investigation, police determined the linked SUVs each had multiple occupants who were dressed in dark clothing, and wore gloves and masks. The white SUV may have an out-of-state license plate, but specifics were not immediately available.

Additionally, police said some of the stolen items were later recovered along a highway in Moorestown, New Jersey.

The burglaries were reported across Bucks County, including in Warrington, Buckingham, Lower Makefield and Upper Makefield.

Multiple residents obtained images of the suspect vehicles from their home security systems, leading to new information made public on Wednesday and Thursday.
