Bucks Co.'s COVID-19 Positivity Rate Climbing: See The Numbers

Hospitalizations are down in the area but the number of positive cases is up, according to the latest health department data.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County Department of Health reported 931 positive COVID-19 cases between Nov. 11 and Nov. 18, up 109 from the prior week. The county has a 7.7 percent positivity rate and a retained "high" transmission level, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

Of those, 140 cases were in children 11 and younger, and 88 were in those aged 12 to 18. Overall, cases in children were down by 19 from the previous week.

The county health department also reported 19 deaths, nine of which had been delayed reported from prior weeks.

Sixty-five people have been hospitalized for COVID-19 in the area, four of whom are on ventilators. Both of these numbers are down since last reported.

More residents are fully vaccinated, with 2,213 getting a second shot since last week for a total vaccinated population of 350,030.
