Bucks Country Gardens Announces Expansion Of Its Giving Program

This year, the family-owned and operated garden center will donate to 20 nonprofit Bucks County organizations.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bucks Country Gardens, a family-owned garden center on North Easton Road, has announced a significant expansion of its Non-Profit Fundraising Campaign.

This year, the garden center will increase the number of Doylestown-area charities, non-profit organizations, and food pantry recipients to 20. Four of the organizations will be chosen by the customers of Bucks Country Gardens.

As in years past, every dollar raised with be matched 100 percent up to $2,000 per organization.

After successfully raising $11,638 in 2023 and $13,222 in 2024 for charities like Kids-N-Hope, The New Britain Food Pantry, and Meals on Wheels of Central Bucks County, the garden center will be extending its program year-round to better serve the community.

“Our focus is on non-profits contributing to the beauty of Bucks County and providing shelter, food, and services for children and those in need within our community,” said Tom Hebel, the president of Bucks Country Gardens. “It’s so important to shine a light on the work they do and services they provide, not only for those in need, but also to increase overall community
awareness and support. As active members of the community we feel a responsibility to give back as often as we are able.”

In 2025, Bucks Country Gardens hopes that families and plant lovers in the Doylestown area will join them in supporting organizations such as Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless, the Ann Silverman Health Clinic, Bucks Beautiful, Heritage Conservancy, the Plumsteadville, Doylestown, Dublin, and Point Pleasant fire companies, and more.

The campaign will run throughout the year with a spotlight on different organizations every two months.

  • January and February - Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless and the Ann Silverman Health Clinic
  • March and April - Bucks Beautiful and Heritage Conservancy
  • May and June - Fonthill Woodlands and the Plumsteadville, Doylestown, Dublin, Point Pleasant fire companies
  • July and August - Four non-profits nominated by BCG customers
