Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund To Hold Fundraising Gala
The Bucks County scholarship fund for children of fallen or disabled first responders is celebrating after meeting their $1 million goal.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund, which provides full four-year scholarships to the children of police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, rescue squads and emergency service personnel who are killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty, is holding its Gala to celebrate 30 years of scholarships and meeting their $1 million goal.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, at the Spring Mill Manor, located at 171 Jacksonville Road, Ivyland. Event tickets are $100 each.
The event will follow all COVID-19 guidelines as laid out by the Bucks County Department of Health, event organizers said.
