Bucks County Woman Faces Arson Charges For Sellersville Fire
On January 2, the 42-year-old woman was taken into custody by Perkasie Police without incident.

PERKASIE, PA —A Bucks County woman faces arson charges for a fire on Maple Avenue in Sellersville that damaged an unoccupied vehicle and a shed and spread to nearby brush.
Alizandria Averio, 42, of Sellersville, was charged with arson (endangering property-inhabited/occupied structure), reckless burning or exploding (places uninhabited), risking catastrophe, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, dangerous burning and violation of a burn ban.
The Sellersville Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Perkasie Police also responded to the scene and subsequently launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.

On January 2, Alverio was taken into custody by Perkasie Police without incident and arraigned by District Justice Armitage. She was subsequently transported to Bucks County Prison where she is being held on $20,000 bail.
