Central Bucks East Choir Competing In B101's Christmas Choir Competition
Public voting will be taking place all day on Monday as the choir vies for a spot in the finals on Thursday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks East Choir will compete in the semifinal round of the B101 Christmas Choir competition today (Dec. 8) when public voting could be the key to advancing the choir to the final round on Thursday.
During the 7 a.m. hour, tune to B101 to hear the Central Bucks East performing "Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame." They will be competing against Souderton Area High School's Crimson Choir and Cherry Hill High School West's Chamber Singers. You can hear the choirs again at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Open public voting on the B101 website begins after all three choirs are announced during the 7 a.m. hour on Monday. Voting will then continue throughout the day until 9 p.m. There is no limit on the number of votes per listener.

The winners from the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday semifinals will then advance to the finals on Thursday with the winners of the competition announced on Friday morning.

First-place winners in the high school division will have their choir's song featured on B101 throughout the holiday season and the school's music program will win a cash prize of $5,000. In addition, the choirs will be invited to perform their winning song during the Philly Pops: A Philly Holiday Spectacular on Sunday, Dec. 14.
The schools will also receive tickets to enjoy the show before and after their performances. The choirs will also be recognized at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra - The Ghosts of Christmas Eve concert on Dec. 21.
Second-place winners in each division will receive a $2,000 cash prize and third prize winners receive a $1,000 cash prize - all to benefit their school's music programs.
