Central Bucks Police Log: Deer Breaks Into Doylestown Home

A deer went inside a home on North Main Street in Doylestown by smashing through a glass panel, police said.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents during the month of March.

March 2

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a Tommy Carr box truck parked in the 100 block of E. Butler Ave. in Chalfont Borough.

March 3

According to a witness, a deer ran onto the porch of a home in the 300 block of North Main Street and through the glass panel on the side of the front door. The deer left through the same door and left behind property damage. There were no known injuries or characteristics to identify the deer, police said.

March 8

Someone broke the back window of a Komatsu 51 bulldozer at the old Dairy Queen property at 318 N. Main St. in Doylestown Borough, causing about $700 in damages.

A 41-year-old Perkasie man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on West Butler Avenue in Chalfont Borough.

March 10

A 23-year-old Doylestown man was charged with disorderly conduct after a police officer observed him urinating in public.

Someone placed nails in two tires and broke the back window of a vehicle overnight parked on Pearl Drive in Doylestown Borough.

March 13

A 28-year-old Doylestown man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on South Main Street in Doylestown Borough.

March 15

Two juvenile offenders were charged with criminal trespass and loitering after they attempted to gain access to a residence on Feb. 19.

March 20

Two young adult males and one male teen were arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop for a non-functioning brake light on Main Street in Doylestown Borough.

A resident of the Newton House in New Britain Borough told police that someone entered their rented room and took $1,000 in cash from their purse.

March 22

Someone slashed the tires on two vehicles parked in the Printer's Alley lot in Doylestown Borough.

March 24

Someone shattered the window of a parked vehicle in the Wendy's parking lot, 400 N. Main St., Doylestown Borough.

March 25

A 29-year-old Doylestown man was cited for public drunkenness after police were called to the Oak Garden Apartments in Doylestown Borough for an intoxicated man roaming the buildings.

March 26

A 29-year-old Doylestown man was cited for public drunkenness after police were called to Oak Garden Apartments for an unconscious man on the stairs. Police observed the man sleeping in the stairway with a bottle of alcohol next to him. He was taken to Doylestown Hospital for medical attention.

March 31

A woman was observed in Nomad Supply Co., 137 S. Main St., Doylestown Borough, taking a bathing suit off the hanger and concealing it under her shirt.
