Cocktails At The Castle Returns Oct. 11

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Mercer Museum's annual Cocktails at the Castle fundraiser is set for Oct. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Cocktails at the Castle will feature various offerings from some of the area’s most celebrated restaurants, caterers, and bakeries. Funds raised will support the Mercer Museum’s exhibitions, youth education programs, and community initiatives.

“We are so excited to welcome the community to another wonderful Cocktails at the Castle. With so many regional favorites returning to share their culinary creations, as well as new additions to the roster, all in an exceptional historic setting, we know it will be the best year yet," said museum President and Executive Director Kyle McKoy.

Dozens of local establishments will be showcasing their offerings, including Chambers 19, Empanada Mama, Simply Fresh by McCaffrey's, Nina’s Waffles & Ice Cream, Penn Taproom, PA Soup and Seafood House, Piccolo Trattoria, Quinoa, Wegmans, Wycombe Vineyards, Zen Den, and more.

Craft cocktails will also be offered.

Live music will be performed by Bucks County Symphony Orchestra, the eclectic band The Gin
Canaries, and Philadelphia-based party band Where’s Pete.

An online silent auction will feature one-of-a-kind experiences and VIP packages.

Auction offerings include a seven-day beachfront vacation on Sanibel Island, a private
behind-the-scenes tour of the Mercer Museum’s vast collections, a custom watercolor portrait
of your home, a golf outing for three at Bucks County’s Lookaway Golf Club, a full detailing of
your car at Four Seasons Car Wash, up-close Penn State Football Tickets with a Tailgate
Experience and more.

Bidding for the silent auction is now live, and supporters can bid anytime online before and during the gala. Tickets to the event are not required to bid.

The event is black-tie optional and kicks off with a VIP reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors open for all guests at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are: $250 VIP, $175 Gala Admission, $150 Members and $95 Mercer’s NextGen (21-30 years old).
