Doylestown Baseball Team Rallies For Girl, 9, Battling Cancer
The Homers for Hope baseball team will host a game to recognize Reagan Rutenberg, a 9-year-old girl battling cancer.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Homers for Hope adult baseball team will host a game Sunday, May 16, to recognize Reagan Rutenberg, a 9-year-old-girl battling cancer.
The men's amateur baseball team is part of the Homers for Hope nonprofit organization and competes in the BuxMont MSBL. The game will see the Homers for Hope Yankees take on the Montco Phillies at Hanusey Park, 4757 Gordon Rd, Doylestown.
Shari Rutenberg, a single mom of four in Doylestown, has made countless trips to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, as her oldest son James has been fighting childhood diabetes. Reagan was diagnosed with leukemia in January, and surgeries and chemotherapy soon followed.

Pregame ceremonies will begin at 9:45 a.m., with first pitch slated for 10 a.m. Following the game, Station Tap House in Doylestown will host a dinner and donation event.
