Doylestown Borough Has Openings On Its Boards, Commissions
The council is also seeking students interested in serving as junior councilpersons or on one of the borough's councils and commissions.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Doylestown Borough Council is accepting applications to fill vacancies on its volunteer boards and commissions. Applicants must be borough residents.
Residents are encouraged to apply for openings on the following boards, councils and commisisons:
- Environmental Advisory Council - The EAC addresses matters dealing with protection, conservation, management, promotion and use of natural resources, including air, land and water resources. The EAC meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
- Board of Managers of the Fanny Chapman Swimming Pool - The board of managers oversees the management and operation of the Fanny Chapman Swimming Pool (applicants should be a resident of Doylestown Borough or a municipality in the Central Bucks School District). The board meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m.
- Historical and Architectural Review Board: HARB is looking for new members with knowledge of and interest in the preservation of the historic buildings and district. The HARB meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.
- Planning Commission: Commission members review and discuss community growth and development matters. The commission mets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
In addition, Borough Council is seeking students who are interested in serving as junior councilpersons from Sept. 2026 to May 2027 or on the following boards and commssions: Fanny Chapman Pool Board, Park and Recreation Board, and the Shade Tree Commission from May 2026 to April 2027.

Applicants must be borough residents, ages 15-18 years, who will be high school sophomores or juniors in May 2026. Student members will be able to gain familiarity with local government operations while providing input on matters before the Borough.
