Doylestown Resident A Star Student On Stage And In The Classroom

We all know students who excel in academic, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one resident who is having an impact in Doylestown.

(Carter)

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Lindsay who nominated Carter of Doylestown.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Carter is the epitome of great students. He is a 9th grader at Tohickon Middle School. He is a straight A student who is constantly challenging himself. He runs the morning show, is a student council officer, is fundraising for his trip to France with his school. Carter is in three choirs, one of the leads in the school play and all the while has a very active social life. Carter takes private singing lessons weekly to hone his skills and works at Rita’s in the on season. Carter is also an amazing big brother to his eight year old sibling and always willing to help his parents. His dream is to go to Princeton and get a degree in political science and attend law school at Harvard where he can eventually contribute to helping fix our criminal justice system

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

His goal in life is to make things better for everyone

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future,Carter!
