Doylestown Woman Charged With Aggravated Assault
A Doylestown woman faces charges of aggravated assault after she was accused by her boyfriend of lunging at him with a knife.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Doylestown woman faces charges of aggravated assault after she was accused by her boyfriend of lunging at him with a knife.
Around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Plumstead Township police officers were called to the 5000 block of Winterberry Drive for a domestic incident.
A man told police that prior to officers arriving on scene, his live-in girlfriend, identified in court documents as 37-year-old Jennifer Myers, of Doylestown, raised an 8-inch knife over her head and lunged at him, according to police.

The man left the area and called police, and further investigation revealed the assault was captured on video, authorities said.
Myers was taken into custody and charged with one count each of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and possessing instruments of crime.

She was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Falcone and taken to Bucks County Jail on $35,000 bail.
A hearing in the case is scheduled for July 12.
