Driver Injured In Weekend Rollover Crash In Buckingham
The Midway Volunteer Fire Company and Doylestown No. 1 responded Saturday afternoon to Hansel Park for an auto extrication.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A driver was injured Saturday afternoon when their car flipped over in the area of Hansel Park at Durham and Holicong roads.
The Midway Fire Company, along with Doylestown No. 1 responded at 12:16 p.m. on Saturday for an auto extrication. Upon arrival, firefighters found a driver trapped in an overturned vehicle that had reportedly flipped over several times into a wooded area.
Crews from Midway Rescue 5 and Engine 15 worked to stabilize the vehicle using Res-Q-Jacks and then removed the vehicle's driver's side doors to gain access to the driver. The driver was stabilized, removed from the vehicle, and transported to a trauma center via Central Bucks EMS.

Also responding to the scene was Midway Engine 5 and Doylestown Rescue 19, along with fire police from both stations. Crews remained on the scene while the vehicle was uprighted and removed from the woods. All personnel were available and cleared from the scene by 1:30 p.m.
The extrication was Midway’s second call of the day, the first being a medical assist call at 8:32 a.m. with EMS for a young male not breathing.
