Family Mourns Loss of New Jersey Man Killed In Bucks Co. Stabbing

Kevin Rosero's life was tragically cut short on June 17.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Family and friends are mourning the loss of a 26-year-old New Jersey man who was found dead in upper Bucks County last week.

Kevin Rosero, of Somerset, was found stabbed to death early Thursday morning in a wooded area in the 500 block of East Pumping Station Road in Richland Township.

Anthony Joel Gamble, 19, and Joshua David Gamble, 17, both of Somerset, have been charged with criminal homicide in connection with his death.

Rosero was a Rutgers University graduate who dreamed of becoming an immigration lawyer, family members said. He was about to begin his master's degree in September. His parents emigrated from Ecudator in the hopes of giving their son a better life.

“Nobody is going to bring back my son,” Rosero’s father, Marcelo Rosero, told Telemundo 62. “We have to make justice for my son.”

The parents said they had never heard of the Gamble brothers prior to learning of their son's death, leaving detectives with few clues as to the motive for the killing

“The Gamble brothers have no apparent connection to this area, being Richland,” District Attorney Matt Weintraub said at an afternoon news conference last week. “Obviously this case is ongoing, I can’t predict the future, I don’t know what other facts will be revealed to us, but as of right now, we are unable to discern any reason for them to be in Bucks County, in Richland Township.”

A GoFundMe has been launched to help the family pay for funeral expenses. As of Wednesday afternoon, more than $11,000 has been raised.

Services will be held Saturday, June 26, from 2-6 p.m. at Judkins Colonial Home, 428 West 4th St, Plainfield, New Jersey.
