Fire Breaks Out At Bucks County Correctional Facility

Multiple fire engines were dispatched to the jail on Easton Road, according to emergency alerts on Friday afternoon.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A building fire broke out at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on Friday afternoon, leading to multiple fire engines responding to the prison.

According to emergency alerts, the fire was in the prison's J module around 3 p.m. Engine 79, Engine 19, Engine 19-1, Rescue 19, Rescue 78, Engine 78, Ladder 29, and Tower 66 were dispatched to 1730 S Easton Rd to respond.

No further details on the cause of the fire were immediately available. Updates will be posted as they become known.
