Firefighters Knock Down Smoky Scrapyard Fire In Bedminster
Firefighters from numerous companies in Central and Upper Bucks County responded to the fire Wednesday afternoon on Easton Road.

BEDMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters from at least a dozen companies responded to a large scrapyard fire early Wednesday afternoon at 6776 Old Easton Road in Bedminster Township.
The fire broke out just before 12:30 p.m. in a pile of tires and metal at Route 611 Metals, prompting a response from first responders from Bucks, Montgomery, and Hunterdon counties.
Due to the lack of water sources in the area, a tanker task force was set up with tankers and engines responding from across the three-county area. One firefighter was slightly injured but returned to his task shortly after being evaluated by EMS.
