Firefighters Knock Down Fire At Cherry Lane Home in Doylestown
Once on the scene, Doylestown firefighters found a well involved first floor and advanced hose lines.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Fire damaged a home in the 30 block of Cherry Lane on Friday morning in Doylestown Township.
Doylestown Fire Company’s Engine 19 (duty crew), Engine 19-1, Tower 79, Engine 79 and Tanker 66 responded on the initial dispatch.
Once on the scene, Doylestown firefighters found a well involved first floor and advanced hose lines.

The company was assisted on the scene by mutual aid companies including Warwick Township Fire Company No. 1, Lingohocken, Warrington Township Emergency Services, and the Midway Volunteer Fire Company.
Lingohocken assisted with advancing a second line to the second floor and attic space, checking for extension and overhaul while Chief 35 had operations.

(Doylestown Fire Company No. 1)
Crews operated for three hours to extinguish the fire and for overhaul operations. No injuries were reported.
Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services and the Doylestown Township Police Department also responded to the scene.
Throughout the incident Doylestown was covered by Hartsville Fire Company and Warrington Fire Co. No. 1.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
