First Ever Doylestown Porchfest Bringing Music To The Streets
Front porches will become stages as live music fills borough streets at the first-ever, free, family-friendly Porchfest.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Music lovers will have a brand-new reason to stroll through Doylestown’s charming neighborhoods. The very first Doylestown Porchfest will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., transforming front porches into lively performance stages and sidewalks into dance floors.
The free, family-friendly event will feature dozens of local musicians and performers across genres — from acoustic folk and jazz ensembles to rock bands and singer-songwriters — all playing from porches, stoops, and front yards throughout town.
“Our goal is to create a day where neighbors and visitors can experience live music in a casual, walkable setting,” said Meg Roth, one of the Porchfest organizers. “Porchfest celebrates community, creativity, and the simple joy of listening to music together.”

There will be a total of 42 performances throughout the afternoon. Local eateries and cafes will be offer plenty of options for festival-goers to grab a bite to eat between sets.

Porchfest organizers Amanda Kewley, Leslie and Neal Carson (acting as performer liaison) and Meg Roth, all friends from Doylestown, say they were inspired by similar events in cities across the country. “We wanted to bring that same sense of connection and discovery to Doylestown,” said
