DOYLESTOWN, PA — The family of a Central Bucks East student who was critically injured in a fatal post-prom crash in the Poconos on June 5 is raising money to help cover the costs of his care.
Jonah Osborne, 17, of Doylestown, remains in critical condition at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton as of Wednesday, according to a family member who created the fundraiser.
Around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, Osborne was driving three of his friends up to the Poconos when he lost control of the vehicle on Ledgedale Road in Pike County, Pennsylvania State Police have said. The crash claimed the life of 18-year-old Pipersville teen Nicholas Mannino, while two other passengers suffered minor injuries.
