Furlong Lamp & Lighting Showroom Closing After 51 Years
The Bucks County retailer is closing and selling off its entire inventory.

FURLONG, PA — The owners of a longtime lighting store have announced they are closing shop.
Located five miles south of Peddler's Village on Route 263, Furlong Lamp & Lighting has been in business for more than 50 years.
A going out of business sale will begin Tuesday, with all existing inventory sold at 50 to 70 percent off the original retail price, the owners said.

"We would like to thank our loyal customers that shopped at Furlong Lamp and helped us thrive for so many years," the owners announced on Facebook. "It was a pleasure to serve you to help brighten your home."
All open customer special orders will be fulfilled over the next 2 months, the owners said.

The store was a two-time nominee for National Lighting Retailer of the Year and winner of the fifth annual ARTS award for best lighting showroom in the U.S. They were also voted best lighting showroom in Bucks and Montgomery County for 18 consecutive years in The Intelligencer's "Best of Bucks" readers poll.
