K9 Search And Rescue Teams To Train This Weekend In Doylestown

Don't be alarmed if you see what appears to be law enforcement and K9 dogs searching DelVal.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — If you see what looks like law-enforcement officers searching for someone or something, don't be alarmed. They'll just be training their four-legged fellow officers for the real thing.

Horsham-based Keystone Search and Rescue will be holding training sessions Friday through Sunday at local facilities, including DelVal. During the training, K9 units from police and search and rescue teams will be practicing their tracking skills.

According to the organization, teams from New York, Virginia, Ohio and throughout Pennsylvania will be in town for the training. Exercises also will be conducted in Warrington and Horsham.
