Man Arrested In Assault On Pregnant Girlfriend In Warrington
The 34-year-old man got into an argument with his girlfriend on Sunday that escalated to an assault.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington man faces assault charges after striking his pregnant girlfriend several times with a belt.
A woman told police that she and her boyfriend, a 34-year-old Warrington man, got into an argument on Sunday that escalated to an assault.
During the altercation, police said the man allegedly pushed the victim in the chest in an attempt to force her out of the residence. He then struck his pregnant girlfriend about seven times on the legs with a belt, resulting in multiple bruises and welts, police said.

Officers placed the man under arrest and transported him to the police department, where he was processed. He was later arraigned by Judge Baranoski, who set bail at $150,000 or 10 percent cash.
The man was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. He is charged with simple assault and harassment.
