Man Arrested For Retail Theft, Providing False ID: Warrington Crime Report

In other reports, a Walmart employee was charged with theft after allegedly stealing from his employer.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warrington Township Police Department reported the following arrests during the first week in October:

  • A Philadelphia man is facing theft charges for an incident that happened at the Walmart store. Police were called to the store on Oct. 1 to investigate a retail theft in progress. Upon arrival, the store's loss prevention officer told police that Arthur Dany Dixon of Philadelphia had concealed $45.92 worth of merchandise in a bag. He then emptied the merchandise on a shelf and exited the store. Police observed Dixon boarding a SEPTA bus, which they stopped and took Dixon into custody. Police said he provided false information several times after being advised he would face criminal charges for doing so. Police said Dixon had active warrants for his arrest from Bucks and Chester counties. He was also identified by Walmart's loss prevention officer as being involved in the theft of $66 worth of merchandise on August 31. He was charged with retail theft and providing false identification to police and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Walmart Employee Arrested For Theft

  • A Walmart employee is facing theft charges after allegedly stealing from his employer. Police were called to the Walmart store on Oct. 4 for a report of an employee theft. Upon arrival, the store's loss prevention officer told police that the 18-year-old man from Warrington had stolen $750 earlier that day from a cash register and a total of $960 cash over several days. He was arrested and transported to the station where he was processed and released. He is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
