Man In Custody Following Shelter-In-Place Incident In Warwick

WARWICK TOWNSHIP, PA — A man is in custody following a heavy SWAT and police response to a neighborhood in Warwick Township Monday afternoon.

Warwick Township Police issued a shelter-in-place order early Monday afternoon for the Mill Ridge section of the township near the Warwick Shopping Center, urging residents to remain in place while law enforcement handled an incident.

Police also notified the Central Bucks School District to adjust afternoon bus routes in the vicinity as necessary to avoid the area.

Around 4 p.m., police posted that the incident had been resolved and there was no danger to the community.
