Police Make Arrests For DUI, Assault, Trespass: Central Bucks Regional Crime Report

The police department reported the following incidents, citations and arrests between August 1 and 30 in the three boroughs.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following incidents, citations and arrests between August 1 and 30. The report does not reflect all police activity, incidents, investigations and arrests during August:

August 1

  • INDECENT EXPOSURE, OPEN LEWDNESS, DRUG OFFENSE, 400 N. Main Street (Wendy’s), Doylestown Borough - A 29-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with indecent exposure, open lewdness and a drug offense following police response for an unwanted subject on July 30. The man had returned to the establishment two days after he was observed exposing himself in a booth in the dining area.

  • ORDINANCE VIOLATION, Linden Avenue, Doylestown Borough - An 18-year-old man from Easton, Conn., was cited for soliciting for EcoShield without a permit.

August 9

  • DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, W. Butler and Hillside Avenue, Chalfont Borough - A 53-year-old Chalfont woman was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for erratic driving. The driver presented with glassy eyes and an odor of alcoholic beverage. Field sobriety tests were conducted, but the driver refused a legal blood draw.]
  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, Ferris Lane, New Britain Borough - A 67-year-old New Britain man was cited for urinating in public.

  • RESIST ARREST, DEFIANT TRESPASS, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 135 E. State Street (Bucks County Bar Association), Doylestown Borough - A 37-year-old woman was charged with defiant trespass and other offenses at the Bucks County Bar Association. Police said the woman refused to leave the premises and fought with officers. She was arraigned, bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000 and she was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

August 13

  • DEFIANT TRESPASS, 561 N. Main Street (McDonald’s), Doylestown Borough - A 25-year-old man from Doylestown was charged with defiant trespass following officers’ response to a man disturbing customers. The man was cooperative and left the establishment. A couple of hours later, police responded again after the man returned to the fast food establishment. He was taken into custody, arraigned, bail set at 10 percent of $5,000 and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.

August 16

  • DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - A 32-year-old woman from Pennsburg was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for erratic driving. The driver presented with a strong odor of alcoholic beverage and unsteady gait. Following field sobriety tests, a legal blood draw was obtained at Doylestown Hospital.

August 17

  • DRIVING UNDER INFLUENCE, N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough – A 40-year-old Royersford man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for speeding and turning the wrong way down a one-way street. The driver presented with an odor of alcoholic beverage and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered followed by a legal blood draw at Doylestown Hospital.

August 20

  • DRUG VIOLATION, W. Court & Lafayette Streets, Doylestown Borough - A 28-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for failing to stop at a posted stop sign. Citations were filed.

August 21

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT AND OPEN CONTAINER, S. Main Street, Doylestown Borough - A Doylestown man was cited for urinating in public and possessing an open container of alcoholic beverage. Citations have been filed.

August 22

  • AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, SIMPLE ASSAULT (2), DISORDERLY CONDUCT (2), Main Street (MOMs), Doylestown Borough – Patrick Stan Kulikowski, 23, of Plumsteadville, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and other offenses following a physical altercation involving a woman. Kulikowski and the victim were told to leave the establishment following a verbal argument. Upon leaving, police said Kulikowski elevated the incident to physical contact when he pushed the victim against a building on Pine Street and proceeded to punch the victim repeatedly in the face. Kulikowski was arraigned, bail set at 10 percent, $100,000, and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
  • RETAIL THEFT & RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, 266 S. Main Street (Sarah Cornwell Jewelry), Doylestown Borough -A 19-year-old man from Chalfont was charged with retail theft following a theft investigation of several pieces of jewelry, valued at $2,584, taken on August 7, 9 and 19. The store employee was arraigned on the charges and bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
  • THEFT OF SERVICES, 7 W. Oakland Avenue (Opal Hair Studio), Doylestown Borough - A 50-year-old Upper Southampton woman was charged with the theft of services. Opal Studio requested payment several times for services rendered on July 30 with an end date of August 18. On August 22, an arrest warrant was issued. She was stopped for a vehicle violation and subsequently arrested on the warrant.

August 23

  • SIMPLE ASSAULT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, HARASSMENT, 37 N. Main Street (MOMs), Doylestown Borough - A 52-year-old Warrington man was charged following an assault. Police said the man started a physical altercation after a patron asked if a woman he was with was okay after a fall she had taken. Police said the man became enraged and followed the victims outside the establishment where he shoved one of the victims and began exchanging punches. A MOMs employee attempted to break up the fight when the man struck him in the mouth.

August 24

  • SIMPLE ASSAULT, 131 N. Main Street (Patriot Station), Chalfont, Borough - A 43-year-old Chalfont man was charged following police response to a domestic violence incident. Police said the man punched the victim in the face following an argument over finances. The man was taken into custody, arraigned, and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured with conditions.
  • SIMPLE ASSAULT, STRANGULATION, HARASSMENT AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT, 201 Fonthill Drive (Fonthill Apartments), Doylestown Borough – John Blackwood, 26 of Warminster, was charged following an assault. Police said Blackwood assaulted the victim after they returned home with a neighbor from being out for the night. The victim remembers lying on the apartment floor with Blackwood’s hands around their neck. Blackwood was arraigned, bail set at 10 percent $100,000 and remanded to Bucks County Prison.

August 24

  • SIMPLE ASSAULT AND HARASSMENT, 131 N. Main Street, Chalfont Borough – A 43-year-old Chalfont man was charged following a domestic dispute with punches thrown. The man was arraigned and bail was set at $25,000 unsecured with conditions.

August 30

  • DISORDERLY CONDUCT, W. State Street, Doylestown Borough – A 21-year-old man from Gettysburg was cited for urinating in public. A citation was filed.
