Man Wanted In Aggravated Assault On Juvenile In New Britain
The incident happened inside the Foundations Behavioral Health Center where he was employed as a staff member.
NEW BRITAIN, PA — An arrest warrant has been issued for Dwayne Shepherd Jr. of Philadelphia on an aggravated assault charge in New Britain Borough.
The 35-year-old is wanted by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department for the abuse and harassment of a care-dependent juvenile at the Foundations Behavioral Health Center where he worked as a staff member.
Police said while working at Foundations, Shepherd allegedly pulled a calm, care-dependent juvenile from the couch of a common area, placed the juvenile’s hand in a gooseneck position, and escorted the juvenile to their bedroom.

When the juvenile attempted to leave the room, Shepherd is seen on video forcefully pushing the juvenile back into beforethe room. When the juvenile exits the room a short time later, video shows the juvenile’s upper back area, near the base of the neck, was visibly red, as well as additional red marks all over the remainder of juvenile’s back.
Video footage before he entered the room shows no marks on the juvenile’s back.

Shepherd is wanted for aggravated assault, simple assault, abuse of a care-dependent person, and harassment.
