‘No Kings’ Protests Planned This Weekend In Bucks Co.: What To Know
A second series of "No Kings" protests against the Trump administration will take place around the country on Saturday.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A second series of “No Kings” protests against the Trump administration will take place around the country on Saturday, with several demonstrations scheduled in Bucks County.
- Upper Bucks United stages a "No Kings" protest at Lenape Park and Constitution Avenue, Perkasie, on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. There will be speeches and a freedom choir.
- No Kings Rally takes place on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Summit Square Shopping Center, Newtown, at the Newtown Bypass and Route 413.
- A No Kings Rally in Morrisville begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Williamson Park. Speakers include State Sen. Steve Santarsiero, 2025 row office candidates, civil rights advocates, and Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie. The rally is hosted by Indivisible Bucks County and Yardley Indivisible.
- No Kings Rally takes place in Doylestown on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the corner of Court and Main streets. Participants are asked to bring signs and donations of non-perishable food, toiletries, and menstrual products.
- Upper Bucks United will have an information booth and "living room" at Autumn Alive in Quakertown. They will be asking folks to fill out a survey to gain a better understanding of what issues are important to people in Upper Bucks. "We hope the living room will make it more enticing for people to participate," said organizers.
No Kings is a coalition of numerous progressive and pro-democracy organizations led and coordinated by the national organizing group Indivisible. In the first No Kings protests in June, millions of people demonstrated against what they say are the authoritarian policies of President Donald Trump.
At least 2,000 protests will be held Saturday in every state in the country, with demonstrations planned in most major U.S. cities, as well as in Canada and Mexico. Protests are designed to be a peaceful day of action, according to the No Kings website.

A No Kings gathering planned on the National Mall in front of the U.S. Capitol drew a response from House Speaker Mike Johnson, who called the Saturday protest a “Hate America rally” staged by “the pro-Hamas and the Antifa" wing of the Democratic Party. "They’re all coming out,” Johnson said.
Protestors’ ranks are expected to be swelled by laid-off federal workers who won’t get a paycheck until the federal government reopens or who may lose their jobs entirely.

The American Federation of Government Employees urged members of its 900 local unions to join No Kings protests as well. Together, the locals represent more than 820,000 workers in almost every federal agency of the government.
No Kings said demonstrators this weekend are expected to protest a variety of administration policies, including immigration enforcement by masked agents and the disruption of migrant families, congressional map gerrymandering, health care and higher costs of living.
