NY Man Charged With Fraud At Doylestown Bank
A New York City man is facing multiple charges after police said he fraudulently withdrew approximately $4,500 from a Doylestown bank.

DOYLESTOWN, PA —A New York City man is facing multiple charges after police said he fraudulently withdrew approximately $4,500 from a Doylestown Borough bank, and then attempted to make another withdrawal two days later.
Michael Pearson,62, was arrested Sept. 6 after police were dispatched to TD Bank on N. Main Street for a report of fraud in progress.
Pearson attempted to make a fraudulent withdrawal with false identification, police said. Bank employees recognized him from two days before, when he fraudulently withdrew approximately $4,500, police said.

Pearson fled the scene when police arrived but was taken into custody soon after.
A police investigation revealed Pearson went to several TD branches in the area and attempted to make fraudulent withdrawals. He was arraigned on charges of identity theft, fraud, forgery, and receiving stolen property.

Bail was set at 10 percent of $100,000 and he was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 16.
