NEW BRITAIN, PA — Organnons Natural Market cut the ribbon on its new store in New Britain this weekend.

The natural foods market has been a fixture in the quaint Carousel Village of Wrightstown since 2013. Owner Jim Gannon said he has leaned on the confidence of his vision and strength of his brand to double the size and scope of his business.

“I went into this venture eyes-wide-open," Gannon said. "There was a clear need and a strong consumer desire to have a dedicated market that catered to all their healthy eating needs. In a time where our health can be easily stripped away; nutrition, wellbeing, and eating healthy is a choice and something people still have full control over. These are the people who gravitate to Organnons and who I happily serve."

Plans were moving along smoothly for the store until everything came to a halt with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Organnons was slated to open its new location in March 2020, but construction crews had to go home and the shell of the building stood vacant for months until plans could resume in August 2020. The doors were officially opened in November.
