Philadelphia Women Facing Multiple Theft Charges In Warrington

The 35-year-old woman is accused of stealing a wallet and using credit cards to make fraudulent purchases totaling $10,000.

WARRINGTON, PA — A Philadelphia woman faces numerous charges after being arrested by Warrington Township Police for stealing a wallet and using several credit cards to make purchases totaling more than $10,000.

Tiera Shaunici Anderson, 35, has been charged with two counts of retail theft, two counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of access device fraud, and two counts of theft by unlawful taking. She was taken into custody on an active warrant.

Police continue to search for Tracey Michelle Gilbert, 54, also of Philadelphia, who was also involved with the crime.

The incident happened on May 7 at the Gran Rodeo restaurant.

The victim told police that she was sitting at the bar and had her purse on the back of her chair. A short time later, Anderson and Gilbert walked up and stood behind her looking at a menu. Anderson and Gilbert are accused of removing the victim’s wallet and leaving the restaurant.

The victim told police the wallet contained numerous credit cards, money, and
identification. The credit cards were later used to make more than $10,000 in purchases at numerous area stores.

Anderson was arrested while in Philadelphia and arraigned by Judge Wertman who set bail at
$50,000 or 10 percent cash. There is an active warrant out for Gilbert.
