Plumstead Police Log: Man Sought In Road Rage Incident

Police are investigating a road rage incident on North Easton Road.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents between Feb. 27 and March 6, 2021.

February 27

At 1 a.m., officers responded and assisted with a fall victim on Rolling Glen Drive.

At 10:20 p.m., officers responded to a dispute involving an intoxicated male in the parking lot of Water Wheel Restaurant. Officers were able to mediate the dispute and provided them with resources on drug treatment as part of the county's S.T.A.R. Program. No further action was taken.

February 28

Officers investigated a disturbance between a reckless driver and a resident on Lexington Drive. The vehicle was described as a white BMW speeding through the neighborhood. Officers attempted to make contact with the driver but the vehicle left the area quickly. The incident is under investigation.

March 1

At 6:27 a.m., officers responded to a call for a possible intoxicated/overdosed man in the area of Swamp Road. Central Bucks EMS responded and performed a medical evaluation. Officers provided the man with a S.T.A.R. packet and arranged for a taxi to take him home.

March 2

At 12:08 p.m., officers investigated an EMS call on Old Oak Road for a female subject who ingested an unknown chemical liquid. Central Bucks EMS transported the female to a local hospital for evaluation.

At 7:53 p.m., officers assisted Doylestown Township with a disabled SEPTA bus on the Route 611 bypass. A tow truck removed the bus from the scene.

March 3

Officers investigated a check-the-well-being call on Louis St. Claire Drive. Officers spoke with an woman who stated her daughter suffers from Asperger's and "all was ok." After declining several officers for help, officers left the residence

At 9:09 p.m., officers investigated an incident where a woman had a change in her mental status on Winterberry Drive. The woman was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

March 4

At 7:49 a.m., officers investigated a hit and run crash as a result from road rage on North Easton Road. Upon arrival the complainant described a man driving a black Volvo who intentionally struck his vehicle. The incident is under investigation. At 2:15 p.m., officers served an involuntary commitment for an emergency evaluation and treatment to a person who was showing signs of danger to himself or others. The man was subsequently transported by ambulance to a local hospital for mental health evaluation.

March 6

At 8:15 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance between an intoxicated woman and man on Bradshaw Road. Christina Bennett, 31, of Pipersville, was charged with domestic assault.
