Plumstead Township Police Log: Dog Bites FedEx Employee

Plumstead Township police officers received a complaint of a dog bite that involved a FedEx employee Thursday.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents between March 29 and April 3.

March 29

At 1:53 p.m., officers investigated a report of property damage from a delivery truck on Summer Meadow Drive. Security video was obtained from the homeowner and a complaint was filed with the delivery company. Officers advised the homeowner that if the driver can be identified they will attempt to locate them within the township.

March 30

At 4:50 p.m., officers investigated complaints of a large amount of motor oil spilled in the parking lot of B&B Beverage on Sawmill Road. Video footage was obtained from the incident and the driver of the vehicle was identified.

At 5:59 p.m., a Plumstead Township resident contacted police to report a fraud involving unemployment. A fraud report was filed with the Department of Labor.

March 31

At 4:30 p.m., officers received a complaint of a dog bite that occurred in the area of Fountain Circle that involved a FedEx employee.

April 1

At 8:56 p.m., officers responded to a domestic dispute in progress on the 1000 block of North Easton Road. A 26-year-old Doylestown man was charged with domestic assault and taken to Bucks County Jail.

April 2

At 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a person who overdosed on Stump Road. A 29-year-old Pipersville man was found dead. Detectives are investigating the incident.

At 1:07 p.m., a Plumstead Township resident contacted the department to report a fraud involving his bank account in the amount of $4,859.10. Detectives are investigating.

At 7:33 p.m., officers investigated a domestic dispute in the Cross Keys Place shopping center between a mother and a male teenager. Officers were able to mediate the situation and the juvenile was taken by Central Bucks Ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation.

At 11:16 p.m., officers investigated a call for a noise complaint in the area of Nancy Ward Circle. Officers were able to contact the homeowner and mediate the complaint.

April 3

At 2:33 p.m., officers conducting a routine patrol check of a business on North Easton Road made contact with an adult woman who showed signs of drug use. The woman agreed to enter into a treatment program and was sent to an outpatient treatment center for evaluation.
