Popular Doylestown Frozen Yogurt Shop Closing

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Tuesday will be the last chance for Doylestown area residents to show support to Yogurttree, which is closing after nearly a decade in business.

The family-owned frozen dessert cafe in the Barn Plaza Shopping Center has decided not to renew its lease, citing changing consumer habits during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many loyal patrons are sad to see it go. As seen on Facebook:

• Thank you for being so good to our community. I organized many Kutz Elementary spirit nights at yogurt tree. I have the cutest pictures and videos of my kids and their friends at your store. We will miss our “go to” place for the best frozen yogurt."
• "so sorry to hear... this is so sad.... we will really miss this yogurt. already missed the quakertown store. then every time i went through doylestown, this one wasn’t open yet (started opening at 3pm, which was too late for a post lunch treat). so sad there is nothing like it around"
• Our family is so sad to hear this! Every cause for celebration lead us to Yogurtree! Please consider finding a smaller location so we can still get our fix!

The store will be open from 12-9 p.m. Tuesday while supplies last.

The Doylestown location opened June 30, 2012, and the Walton family expanded to another location in Quakertown in September 2013; however, that location also fell victim to the pandemic and closed last year.
