Reorganization Meetings Set For Monday In Bucks Co.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — It's an annual tradition where municipal governments reset their leadership the first Monday after the new year.

During these usually brief meetings, municipal councils, supervisors, and commissions nominate their presidents and vice presidents and then vote for majority support.

Other government positions are also approved, including board secretary, treasurer, solicitor, and engineer, among others.

The schedule for meetings is also usually set on this date.

Often, the municipal bodies wind up re-electing the same leaders from the prior year to keep government continuity those some towns like to rotate leaders each year.
