Safari-Themed Sand Sculptures On Display At Peddler's Village

The sand sculptures feature a jungle full of safari animals including elephants, rhinoceros, lions, gorillas, and more.

LAHASKA, PA — A "Safari In Sand" featuring larger-than-life animals sculpted out of sand is open to the public through August 31 at Peddler's Village in Lahaska.

"Safari in Sand" is showcasing several eye-catching sculptures this summer created by world-renowned master sand sculptors - Team Sandtastic, based in Florida, and John Gowdy and Laura Gowdy, based in New Jersey.

The sand sculptures feature a jungle full of safari animals including elephants, rhinoceros, lions, gorillas, and more. The large sand sculptures are complemented by several smaller sand sculptures as well as sandboxes designed for play.

The display has been provided in part by Bucks County and Visit Bucks County through the Bucks County Tourism Grant Program as well as by sponsors that include Fred Beans Automotive Group, The Lucky Cupcake Company, Pieces, Sticky Situations, and Nina’s Waffles and Ice Cream
