School Closures Announced For Monday In Bucks County

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The following Bucks County School Districts will be closed or providing remote learning on Monday, Jan. 6 due to the forecast for snow:

Bensalem - Monday, January 6 will be a Remote Learning Day. Schools and offices will be closed. Review the remote learning guide.

Bristol Borough - The buildings in the Bristol Borough School District will be closed and all classes will be running asynchronous on Monday, January 6. All students are expected to log in to their Google Classrooms to complete all assignments. Attendance will be recorded in each class and determined by completion of assignments.

Bristol Township - The Bristol Township School District will be closed for a Snow Day on Monday, January 6. There are no instructional requirements for students or instructional staff.

Centennial - Due to the weather forecast, all schools and offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6.

Central Bucks - All schools and offices in the Central Bucks School District will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6 for a snow day due to anticipated weather conditions. In addition, all after-school events are also canceled for the day. The district's approved calendar provides for one traditional snow day. Additional snow days will be scheduled as Flexible Instructional Days (FIDs), according to the school district. Council Rock - All schools will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6 for a snow day. Activities at all schools and facilities are canceled for Monday.

Morrisville - The district has scheduled an Asynchronous Learning Day for Monday, January 6. All staff, students, and office personnel will be working remotely. All after-school activities are canceled.

Neshaminy - Schools are closed for staff and students. Afternoon and evening activities cancelled. No Kids Club or private school bus transportation.

New Hope-Solebury - Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 6. This will be a traditional snow day and no virtual instruction will be offered.

Palisades School District - All schools and offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6.

Pennridge - All schools will be closed on Monday, January 6. Additionally, the Pennridge School Board Committee meeting scheduled for Monday evening will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.

Pennsbury - All Pennsbury schools and offices will transition to a Remote Learning Day on January 6. Visit the district's homepage or Facebook page for details. All after-school and evening activities are canceled and will be rescheduled
