Spring Outdoor Concert Lineup In Bucks Announced By Stage United
Live music coming to venues in Newtown and in Doylestown this spring, including the debut of Concerts At The Commons in May.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Though the Northeast may have experienced a false start to springtime, outdoor live music will soon be in the air along with the season change.
Stage United is presenting four concerts across Bucks County to celebrate the arrival of spring. Included in these festivities are two exciting free concerts called "Concerts In The Commons" held in collaboration with The Borough Of Doylestown.
"Stage United features artists that make us feel at home, in venues that define our home," says Joe Montone, Founder of Stage United. He continues, "It is an honor to have these opportunities to bring captivating live concert experiences to our region."

Montone's 16 years as a local concert producer, has culminated in the creation of Stage United, a nonprofit entity, which seeks to inspire communities through greater access to live music.
On April 25, Stage United co-curates SPEAKeasy at ArtWRKD in Newtown. The night showcases the art of live storytelling in the forms of poetry, local lore, and song. The soaring vocals of Newtown-based songwriter, Dirty Dollhouse, headlines the evening.

Meg Groff will read excerpts from her new memoir, "Not If I Can Help It," a new memoir recounting her 40 years as a legal aid attorney in Bucks County. The featured poet is to be announced. More information can be found at artwrkd.com/event-details.
Thursday, May 1st launches the Concerts In The Commons series with live music, food trucks, and local beverages. Mo Lowda & The Humble, a world-touring progressive indie rock outfit with Bucks County roots, will headline the first night.

Bucks County Deputy Sheriff and phenomenal musician, Dave Woodard, kicks off the evening with fresh takes on funk, blues, and rock classics. Acclaimed local food trucks, Jules Thin Crust and Kona Ice, will be on-site for this family-friendly event with drinks from Artifact Brewing.

For more captivating outdoor live music, Picnics On Pine celebrates five years in the Doylestown Borough on Saturday, May 17. The picnics transform Pine Street into a neighborhood amphitheater with a block party atmosphere.
Featured artist Don McCloskey takes the stage, while a Jenkintown-based chef, Jasper's Sunrise BBQ, feeds the masses. Picnics On Pine also features an expanded craft market for their 5th season. Tickets and more information at picnicsonpine.com/tickets
Concerts In The Commons closes out the month of May with Jarod Clemons & The Late Nights and Fallon's Religion on Thursday, May 29. Jarod Clemons is the youngest son of E Street Band saxophonist and Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer, Clarence Clemons. He is charting an electrifying path as a frontman and songwriter. Starting the show is the soulful Americana sounds of Bucks natives, Fallon's Religion.
"The vision for Broad Commons Park has always been to create a vibrant hub for our entire community," says Caitlin Hernandez, the director of Parks & Recreation in the Doylestown Borough. She continues, "Designed with the goal of supporting local businesses, artists, and community groups, the park truly comes to life through initiatives like Concerts at the Commons. We’re thrilled to partner with Stage United to bring these performances to the Borough."
