State Police Investigating Threat Received By Bucks Co. Municipal Employee

The incident ultimately led to the postponement of a zoning hearing board meeting and the cancellation of the board of supervisors meeting.

HAYCOCK TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police at Dublin are investigating after an employee of Haycock Township in Upper Bucks County received a threatening message.

According to the State Police, Troopers were dispatched to the township on Monday to meet with the employee. The incident ultimately led to the postponement of a zoning hearing board meeting and the cancellation of the board of supervisors meeting.

With a population of 2100 people, Haycock Township is located just to the east of Quakertown Borough. It is home to the villages of Applebachsville, Danneltown, Doanston, Haycock and Pullen.

Police did not elaborate on the nature of the threat and haven't said if it was directed at any specific individual. The Bucks County Herald is reporting that State Police Troopers were at a home of a township supervisor Monday night
