Summer Camps Near You: Doylestown Area Summer Camps Await

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Summer camp anyone? Games, arts and crafts, outdoor hikes, and snacks with friends are all part of the fun around Doylestown.

Now is the time to make plans for summer camps as they fill up fast. All around Bucks County there are some good camp options for kids. Here are a few.

YMCA Bucks County offers summer camp programs for youth from preschool age on up. Camps are held at the YMCA's 20-acre campus, and adventures are waiting. Find more information here.

Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation has camps happening for all ages over the summer. Tots have their own camps, youth can join multi-sport camps, youth can join engineering and coding camps, as well as karate and chess, and there's even an outdoor boot camp class for grownups. The Mercer Museum holds Wizarding Academy Summer Camp returns for a week-long half-day summer camp filled with magic and excitement. Ages 7-12, Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Space is limited. Bucks County Community College holds summer camps for kids by age group. There's a lot happening, so check it out. More information is here.

Acting Naturally is a Bucks County non-profit that offers summer theatre camps for kids 8-18 years old. Broadway Bootcamp, The Lion King Kids, and Once on this Island Jr. are a few of the camps coming in 2022. The theater is in the Shoppes at Flowers Mill in Langhorne. Find more information here.
