What does this person teach?

First grade at Regina Academy

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mrs. Meyer is an absolutely spectacular first grade teacher, but she is so much more than that. She is not only raising up the youngsters at our school right, she is mentoring the older ones and running so many of our school-wide events behind the scenes. She never wants to be recognized for her work but our small school would truly not function without her. Her limitless energy is as endless as her kindness and compassion and I look to her as I raise my children and I can only hope to one day be the kind of mother, grandmother, and woman she is. She gets more school work done with her first grade students than I had ever expected or seen before with my older sons' first grade teachers and all while encouraging and fostering their emotional growth and cultivating them into wonderful little humans all ready for second grade. Mrs. Meyer is simply The BEST.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is beyond humble and generous with both her time and resources and full of energy and zeal for her job and the children she is helping to raise.
