Tourism Program Awards $593K In Grants To Bucks County Organizations

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County Tourism Grant Program has awarded $593,463 to 53 organizations throughout the county.

The program was established between Visit Bucks County and the County of Bucks in 2008 to assist in the development and enhancement of tourism initiatives in the county. It is funded through the Bucks County lodging tax, which is assessed to visitors staying overnight in hotels, bed and breakfasts and home-shares.

Since its inception, more than $7.2 million has been distributed to more than 140 organizations. Grant funding is used for marketing, special events and exhibitions, product development and capital improvement projects all taking place in 2025.

Each year, one grant recipient is recognized as the Charles H. Martin Grant recipient. The grant is named in honor of former Commissioner Martin’s commitment to starting and supporting the Bucks County Tourism Grant Program. The 2024 recipient is the Bucks County Wine Trail.
