Tree Lighting, Carriage Rides, And Santa To Welcome Season At Dublin Town Center

DUBLIN BOROUGH, PA — The Dublin Town Center will usher in the season with a free Holiday Gathering and a Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m.

A dance group will kick things off at 5 p.m. with performances leading up to the big countdown.

At 5:30 p.m., everyone's invited to gather as Santa lights the grand Christmas tree. Afterwards, Santa will greet youngsters and friends at Five Star Travel for photos and fun.

Throughout the evening, youngsters are invited to decorate a Gingerbread Man at the Farm to Toast cafe with the help of Brown's Bakery. They can also take a late fall holiday ,ride down the large inflatable slides.

The special evening will also offer horse-drawn carriage rides through the Dublin Town Center, activities for the kids, including balloon twisting, face painting, and other holiday surprises; live carolers at the square; and cozy drinks and food at Farm to Toast and the Boiler Room.

The evening also affords visitors a chance to shop local for holiday gifts and to grab a bite to eat at the Station, from ice cream and tacos to pizza, burgers, and beer.
