'Walk Pink' To Step Off For Breast Cancer Patients At Peddler's Village
Proceeds from the one-mile walk will provide direct support to breast cancer patients in the Bucks County community.

LAHASKA, PA — A "Walk Pink" fundraiser is scheduled to hit the pavement this weekend at Peddler's Village to raise funds for Bucks County breast cancer patients.
Lace Silhouettes Lingerie (LSL) has announced plans for a one-mile fundraising walk, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 11, benefiting the nonprofit organization, Main St. (formerly Pine2Pink), which provides direct support to breast cancer patients in the community.
“The Walk Pink Event is one of the first fundraisers I put together for the company," said Karen Thompson, founder and president of LSL. "Breast cancer has touched many families within our community, making it especially important to myself and my team to raise funding for the cause,” she noted.

The Main St. foundation is a family-run non-profit organization with a mission to inspire and empower people and businesses to support the needs of local cancer patients. The organization has helped more than 2,000 local breast cancer patients while also funding programs for food assistance, counseling and therapy, out-of-pocket expenses, and many more services.
Thompson said by joining the walk and shopping event, participants not only enjoy a festive morning in Peddler’s Village but also make a meaningful impact for local breast cancer patients, ensuring that support stays within the community.
